Jacket?

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Jacket? has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It contains no third-party SDKs of any kind. It talks to exactly one server — a weather API — and to nothing else.

What the app collects

Nothing is collected by the developer. There is no server operated by this app, no database of users, and no way for anyone to identify you from using it.

Location

Jacket? asks for your location while you are using it, so it can look up the forecast where you are standing rather than a city average. Specifically:

If you decline the location permission, the app tells you so and does nothing else. You can withdraw it at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services.

What is stored on your device

Two things, both in the app's own storage, both removed when you delete the app:

Neither leaves your device.

Third parties

The only external service contacted is Open‑Meteo (api.open-meteo.com), which supplies the forecast. No API key or account is involved. Their privacy policy is at open-meteo.com/en/terms.

There is no analytics provider, no crash reporter, no advertising network and no attribution SDK in this app.

Children

Jacket? does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the updated version appears at this address.
